クロノ・トリガ  In the year 1000 AD, a teenage swordsman, Crono, resides in the village of Truce. With the dawn of the century at hand, Crono speeds to Leene Square to enjoy the festivities of the Millennial Fair. A mysterious device sets Crono's destiny in motion when his newfound friend, Marle, is unexpectedly thrown into the time-stream by an experimental teleportation device. Gathering his courage, Crono sets out on a quest to rescue the young princess, unaware his true fate is to save the planet from the mysterious and powerful being known only as Lavos.
